The Green Buttlerfly

Flowers are red;

Violets are blue;

Is there such a thing as a green butterfly?

Yes, 'tis truer than true.

Despite Her invisibility,

Madam Butterfly can see

what you and I can't.

When we cry, curse God, rant

she's always there right beside.

Her omniscience and dependability

is a force to be reckoned with deep inside.

Her graceful flight is effortless;

Her gentle landing is faultless.

She rides like one with the wind,

not caring for a laborious stipend.
