The green eyed monster – Envy

y eyes shoot from object to object

Looking at everything

My eyes they do  deceive me

I feel it..

whispering to me, whispering to me

“listen my little angel look at her new hair

what a beautiful hair cut, yet you deserve it more then her

I dare say”

I shake myself and try to ignore its whispers

yet I feel the green eyed monster taking over me

I feel it slowly slipping through my brain down my throat and

through my teeth

It seeps out and out it comes the sarcasm and snappy glares

My friend looks at me in shock and

I hear the green eyed monster cackle

and slowly pull my lips into a grin

I slowly pull myself away from the green eyed monster

and I apologise but from a distance

I still feel the slow dripping venom remains

of the green eyed monster

I close my eyes and feel it stare back at me

and I whisper to myself

Envy…
