The Green Monster

That house screamed money! Its all painted in her grief The opportunities etched out at her feet The green monster has come to claim her And the fever began to spread From her heart down to her legs Intimidated, bitter sweet taste filled the empty space Acres of longing, mountain of tenderness Born from dark waters daughter of the rain and storms Listen darling I want to give you back the open sky Give you back the open sea Open up the ages, darling, for you to see Because its running in the family And the riches between you and me.
