Green thumb

I found a weed in the garden

and called it

"a beautiful flower"

but they smacked my hand

and called it

"disgusting"

"a pest"

"undsesirable"

and pulled its roots from the ground

with such force

that it rained for

3 straight days

and soon i realized

it was not rain

but tears

tears

for the unloved daisies

the ugly ducklings of gardens

without the chance

to show their swam feathers

to the world.
