Grenade

I am a grenade.

I am a grenade with my pin already pulled.

A grenade that is set to go off at an unknown time.

A grenade that no one knows is there.

I scream so loud,

Trying to warn you,

But you don't hear a thing.

I try to run from everyone.

I try to save them from the inevitable explosion.

The explosion that I know will destroy me.

I want the casualties to be few.

I am a grenade,

And my pin has already been pulled.
