Grey

Of all the graceless days

That frostbit me grey

Stepping stone ways  ,

Piece by piece

I’ve drowned away

I’ve changeling my ways

Negotiating pain with ,

A wraith with a changing face

Until pain fades

To a line my finger traces

My soul is a broken vase

Step by step I pace ,

Graceless in my stride

I’ve become lonely places

I’ve been frost bitten grey.

I’m nothing but goodbyes
