Do you truly understand grief?
It is what makes you set an empty chair beside you on dark nights, memories of a passed loved one.

It is not a lifetime, not a year or a minute... No, it is forever.
Truly cruel it lingers, that perpetual ache.
My heart long broken in the deafening silence.

Do you understand? Can you relate?
The emptiness that death cannot retrieve.
The hidden silence that creates fear and inhibition.

What is not understandable?
The edge of sanity has been breached.
The falling soul cries out, and the years fell like nothing.
