The Griever's Lament
(poems go here) What color did they bleed, oh foolish one?
Your hands are stained it.
What color did they scream?
Your soul is tainted with it.
What color did they weep?
Your cheeks are seared with it.
What color did they fear?
Your cage is built with it.
What color did they hate?
Your noose is tied with it.
What color did they love?
Your corpse is shrouded with it.
Grieve with me, oh selfish one.
For there will always be those like us.
