Grim Reaper

Oh Grim Reaper,

how you must love me so.

You are always there,

even when I want you to go.

You wait in the corner

            until I’m happy once more.

Then you snatch my loved ones

            and hurt my core.

Oh Grim Reaper,

            why must you stay?

My life would be better

if you would just go away.

Please find a new victim.

I don’t want to be your prey.

Haven’t I suffered enough?

           Just go away.
