Grounded

Have you ever had times where you fall apart all at once?

Like someone picked the most important Jenga brick and every last piece lost it's shit
You tremble like an earthquake, nothing can stop you, aftershocks are standard
Everything sifts
Hearing symphonies of sirens, un patterned whimpers
Not knowing if everything has gone up in flames or if your drowning,
only to see a faded grey
Imaging you've crawled into a white room
Not knowing if the walls are closing in
Or falling out
Tucking your chin between your Knees
Staring directly at your toes to remind you that you're always firmly planted on the ground
Even when you've lost the strength to keep standing
The floor will forever remain grounded
