Grounded

Grounded

I feel happy

In my room I’m alone and I can play games

But something was different this time I was gaming.

There was a conversation right outside of my door.

It was like a tsunami it happened so quick.

I was playing games and there was a rogue wave about to hit.

And when my dad found out I was playing games he

burst in like a wave crashing and sweeping everything away.

He shouted and yelled, I could not survive this dreadful might.

I cried as the first wave hit and tears and water everywhere.

There was nowhere to hide not even up in the air.

It was like my worst NIGHTMARE.

And as I sat there in that broken chair.

It was like waiting for a tsunami.

So I faced the consequence that lay in store for me.

Getting grounded from video games, then I sat in my room for the rest

Of the night.
