Grow Up

Everyone grows up differently

It’s either a good way or a bad one

But it’s more complicated than that

Rich, poor, middle class

Happy, faithful, sad

Gangs, ghetto, trash

Sleepovers, friends, family

Some can be combined

Or are a stereotype

What is possible is to grow differently than where you came from

About how you learn from experiences

Trying your hardest

Smiling at your darkest

Laughing when you see the light

And soon becoming bright
