Grow Strong Fly Free
I thought I was like the trees
tough on the outside
softer within
I realized I'm different
I'm not a tree
I'm just a lonely human being
We cannot compare
to things worse for wear
We are all like butterflies
beautiful reds and greens
ugly yellows and browns
everything inbetween
None of us the same
all unique in our own little ways
We break from our chrysalis
and spread our wings
We fly from our homes
but never truely leave
We fall in love
heartbreaks in between
Some fall apart in pieces
others stand tall and leave
Humans aren't perfect
we know it too
We all will die someday
We don't know what comes after
so we shall wait
and see
