Grow tired

Sat, 03/10/2018 - 19:20 -- Leaky

You look through a glass

I know she’s on your mind

you cry tears of spite

yet your heart remains kind

And you keep on wondering

How a girl loved as she

Would keep you expectant

while tossing the key

Then you’re just a loser

so why don’t you lose her

and let me cradle your broken parts?

I promise to glue them

together with human

compassion, sincerity and all of my heart

Or what’s left of it anyways

I’ve grown tired of waiting

Grown tired of love

but can’t you see that you’re like me

there’s no place for us here

But if you keep insisting

that she is the one

then I’ll linger here

until your battle’s won
