Grow Trees, Build Bridges

When we cut down trees And stomp on grasses We'll someday get scorched On our feet and our heads When we break bridges And open up the dams We'll someday get drowned Loose our wealth and our lives When we raise our voices And push our friends away We'll someday get lonely In our homes and our joys When we acquire great wealth And walk around puffed up We'll someday buy treasures Worthless to us and our heirs When we teach children Holding their hands to discover We'll someday build a world Where every man can prosper Grow trees Build bridges Respect people Give always Nurture the future ©️Hurrah's-Classroom 2021
