Growing Up

Do you remember when every little thing you did was carefree

You never had to worry about anything but the man with the white goatee

Having fun in the sun was the best part of your day

Until the time came and had to take it all away

Because when you grow older and learn responsibilities

You cause yourself to become a liability

Adulthood is no joke

Because every year you are closer to the day, you croak

Do not take for granted what you did as a kid

Because it is just a memory of what you did
