Growing Up
As little kids
we didn’t care
Grades were nothing
crushes were fun
Only cried
when we fell
Pressure was something
we never knew.
As we got older
All we did was care
Grades were everything
crushes ruined our lives
Crying a lot
because it’s all too much.
Pressure is there,
it’s all we know
We all wanted to grow up.
