Growing up

I came into this world I saw the sunshine shine I remember when I was young I played and played all day I found distant places But then I grew older and became a great little boy Some days I let my mind go wild But I still had good times I went to the hills The dark and cold woods I found lots of things But now I'm older I have school work to do I have tons of things to do My life has raced for hours and hours But then one day I said wait Let's think about the times No matter how good or bad My past has made me the man I am now So be happy And don't let things push you down And get ready for the times of our lives And remember you are who you want to be.
