Growing up

When I walk into a room...

When I get insecure about being alone and feeling judged...

When I'm surrounded by people I barely know...

When they act like they know my story;

Then there finally came a time in which I became too tired and overwhelmed.

I gave up trying with all these fakes,

And decided to be myself and see what comes of it...

I gained independence and learned self-worth

And a best friend I can trust and fill memories with.
