growing

when I came into this world I didn't see light, all I saw was darkness and destruction, I hid in corners and closets away from a fight, I always took a single step with caution, i saw my only chance to get away, i took my chance and ran, the darkness slowly turned to grey, i ran as fast as i can, i came to a bright light at the end of the tunnel, I finally found happiness and love, my life around me could ever crumble, i can now soar high like a dove.
