growing up

you were taught to fear from a very young age. shown how scary the world

would be right in your own home. that didn’t stop your bravery. that didn’t

stop the outspoken girl you’d grow to be. you didn’t let that define you, instead

you let that empower you. it made your soft voice louder. it made you be heard

with your family, friends and even in school. And from the first time you were

ever heard, you let your voice grow louder and louder. let that be a reminder that

you should never feel held back because of your past, instead let it empower you

into the woman you wish and will become. for the best way to overcome an obstacle

is to own up to it with all that is in you.
