Growing Up

Being young and carefree

I’d fly high with the birds can’t you see.

My eyes never opened up for me.

I’d search high and low

Just to get a piece of blow.

Sometimes I’d just go with the flow.

Now older and wiser

I found that writing can be an adviser.
