Growing Up

When I was younger

I used to think

That I’d fulfill my wildest dreams

Dance on broadway

Get the guy

Get my happy ending at life

Now I’m older

I’m not fine

I have physical reminders from those hard years of life

I know not everybody stays strong

And wakes up to see the light

And escapes from the nightmares buried deep inside

After all these years I understand

Why Peter Pan

Never wanted to grow up

And become a man
