Growing

You learned that nothing ever stays still,

And that life moves just beneath your feet.

That falling in love is definitely scary,

and that a broken heart doesn't mean defeat.

It can mean growing, and new things,

Like knowing you'll still be scared,

But everything will still be alright,

Because behind you are all those who ever cared.

Your future self is wishing you luck,

And your past self is looking ahead,

So keep your body aware and curious,

And carry any present wisdom up in your head.
