Growing Up

I was once young, I was once foolish

For I didn’t know where life could lead me

I was naive and I was weak, and I didn’t believe I could succeed

but life she kept pushing

life she showed me

through all my trails and tribulations I finally learned how to breath

So as I take my step forward

take my step into a new life

I realized how far I made it, I realized I fought hard through my strife.

So I stand here today brave and strong, and I give others this message

I sing them this song

No matter what life throws at you, you can make I swear

Just keep on fighting and one day you’ll make it out of here
