Growing up

I used to be a freshman always dying to get out of class , now im a graduating senoir wondering what happened to all the time .

I feel worried my life has gone by too fast , is all the sand on one side of the hour glass?

Here lately ive been just going through the motions not saying a word feeling like criminal who just got caught in the crime.

just thinking about my jounry ahead my throat closes up. i find myself starring into my rim filled cofffe cup , trying to figure out how to stop  time and make it last.

thats when i met a wise man whom said "do not worry about how fast life goes by but whether you had a blast hitting the life on the bull's eye and who cares what happened to the time ,enjoy your life because you're still a young pup many years away from you're prime.

and when he was done with his corny rhyme. i gulped the coffe out of my what was my rim filled cup and realized , Its all just part of growing up.
