Growing

Every child grows up All in different ways Every girl becomes a women They are changing every day Those who love their looks Soon began to see That their hard work and success Is better than any amount of beauty The ones that always play in mud That are tomboys till they're teens Find being polite and proper Is a better way to be seen Some who have always hidden Who are as shy and very meek Discover new friends when they open up And learn to love to speak Those who are self-centered And do everything on a whim Learn to think of others And make life beautiful for them Every woman was once a girl Once young and naive Everyday they have grown and changed And women they have grown to be
