growing up

growing up can

tear you wide open and let the faith run dry

leave you alone with nothing else inside

crying away those once dreamt dreams

trying to get a grasp of this true reality

you reach out for a hand

drowning in this misery

hoping to get a hold of something

only to realize the sufferings everywhere

that desperate last gasp for that sweet coated air

suffocating with confusion

shutting down there nothing left

growing up its true own despair
