Growing Up, and Fast

Most kids in my generation would say they had the chance to be a "kid,"

and they didn't have to grow up until their teenage years, but not me,

in my family I learned I had to grow up and fast, how fast is fast ?

Im sure you're wondering, I would be to. Fast is 10 years old. Working ? Not yet.

but chores yes, watching over my sister yes, making our meals at times yes,

and learning our parents weren't around that often yes. It was me, as mentioned my sister

and my brother. The trio we were. When we turned the working age we got jobs. Me?

I was fifteen when I got my first paying job. Once I got an income I had even more

resonsibility than before. Paying for my food yes, paying for my clothes yes,

getting things for my siblings yes. I learned I needed to mature quick or I was never

going to be able to care for my self. With maturing came a focused mind set in what I

wanted for my future. My future? yeah it consists of a steady career and a fun hobby,

that hobby for me is art. Growing up and Fast encouraged me to be strong, brave, and

embrace challenges. Ready for the world, I am!
