Growing confidence within yourself

I grow confidence within myself by pondering less about other people are thinking and focusing more what I’m doing. Also, if you tend to over think things that make you worried, how people are judging you probably have the same fears but you’re the one who is brave enough to do it (whether it be interviewing or speaking on stage). Confidence is a characteristic that overrides fear, which a single person has to create for themselves that stems off of high self-esteem. The term “practice makes perfect” comes from a long line of the human race who know nothing is perfect, nor can you ever get there, but the more you practice interviewing or on stage speaking the better you’ll become. Which builds your self-esteem then you gain confidence. Techniques I use to show I’m confident are sitting up straight, with my shoulders back, head held up high, maintain contact with other people, tummy in, slightly raised eyebrows, and smile.
