Growing Up is Getting Old

Growing up is getting old

with heartache and storms

Going through these years

in most ways i've become cold

Once numb to sensations

my walls built so high

Now I feel everything

burning at my soul

Love is so confusing

and sadness now rules me

Lying is too hard sometimes

and people ask too many questions

Growing up is getting old

each year just feels longer

This decade almost lost

my easy days with it

I wanna build my walls back up

at least then I was okay

Now I change from ground to sky

depends how i'm feeling that day.
