Growing up I didn't accept
Growing up I didn't accept the person I was
I felt as if I was constantly being jugde and put down by the people around me
Because of who I appeared to be
I've been constantly called
Fat
Ugly
Weird
Annoying
Stupid
Crazy
And the sad part I believed it.
I let people push me to the point where I felt I were these things and I'll be nothing more than those things
I let the jugdement of what people thought of me
Detemine who I became to be
I constantly told myself that I will never be accepted because I didn't have the ideal body
Or I didn't look like the people I saw everyday
I knew in the back of my mind that I will never be accepted
But you know what
How can I expect
People to stop judging me
If I can't learn to be happy with who I am than nobdy can
So you know what
If you can't accept me
Than I can't accept you
Because you are unaccepting
And that's unacceptable
I'm tired
I'm tired of letting people detemine
How I want to look
I'm tired of letting people detemine
What I want to wear
I'm tired of letting people detemine
How I want to live my life
I'm tired of leting people
Determine
Who
I
Am
And don't think because I'm fat
I'm insercure
Because I don't look like a model
That I'm insercure
Because I don't have the niceiest clothes like everybody else
I'm insercure
Because I am not insercure
I know I am beautiful
I know I am unique
You will never in your life
Find somebody else like me
Because honey I am
One of a kind
Dr. Pepper
I will nolonger listen to the people
In my ear telling me
Who I should be
I will nolonger live my life under fear
Because I';m scared of what people think of me
Who cares if people think I'm fat, or wierd, or ugly
Maybe I like being fat
Maybe I like being wierd
Maybe I like the way I look
Maybe I like the way I talk
The way I walk
The way present myself
Maybe I like the person I am
Becoming
All my life I been running Away from the person I am
It's about time I start
Facing myself
