Growing Old

I'm not as young as I used to be, playgrounds don't hold me.

I'm not as creative as I used to be, I don't see mermaids and dragons.

I'm not as happy as I used to be, the world has changed me.

This world has changed me, and I do not like what I've become.

I want a simple world filled with fruit snacks and color.

Now all I see is carbs and grey.

No.

The world cannot change me, I am still me.

I am still creative. I just express it differently.

Nice try world, you cannot change me to be like all the rest.

I do not see in grey, I see in color.
