Growing Pains.

It's hard being a female In a male dominated society Young, Black and Pretty Excuse my success to come And my failed past But accept my growing present. The worst part about growing up, Is no one's going to hold my hand anymore. Or to help me up when I fall Or wipe my knee when it's scraped. Grew up a screwup Trying to turn it around Only 17, But I feel like I been around The block and back It's kinda weird when older men Just look at me because of my back When I'm way more than that. Excuse my nice hips, This small waist And full lips. But I have a brain that I fully intend to use Just accept my growing pains And young girl mistakes. - Soul of a Lost Mind.
