Growing Pains

Do you know how it feels

To be alone and unwanted

Crying but no one to talk to

In pain and no one can mend it

When your reality are your nightmares

And your dreams are your reality

My reality is too painful to bare

All I want to do is to sleep

And maybe my dreams could help me escape

This harsh, cruel world

I'm afraid to sleep now

For then, my dreams are about my reality

Re-living unwanted memories

That my heart can barely take

When the truth is too harsh for me to talk aloud

So my dreams tell me instead

Do you know how it feels

To live your nightmares

And your nightmares are your life
