Growing into Something

Trees trees

please please,

teach me how to grow like you,

teach me how to be grounded like you.

We long to learn that stability which shines and sparkels through your leaves,

your leaves of many, your leaves which blow.

Blowing sacred elements of life, towards me.

Just little old me, surounded by fresh air and mist.

But I cannot be all,

I thank you creatures of the trees, for colors you bring to their leaves which I love and need.

Thank you, thank you trees for making me, me.
