Growing Up Thinking About Dance

It was 12am and I was wide awake

Practicing our dance routine we made as a kid

Wondering what it will be like when we’re grown

And on a professional dance team.

It’s 12am I’m wide awake.

I don’t know if you are though,

I don’t even know where you are,

Or if you’re ok.

It’s been 12 years since we spoken.

All I want to tell you is our routine sucked

My dancing improved

I hope yours did too.
