growing up/dreams

They say you need to know yourself
but never chase those foolish dreams.
They say you need to stay here,
In this state,
 and just accept reality.
But if you never chase those dreams,...
those foolish dreams they cannot see...
then you will never know yourself
and you will lose the best of you.
I choose to chase my dreams
however foolish they may seem
For even if I cannot succeed
At least i know
I am me.
