Grown

It goes in everybody's head. Words never spoken, never said. Only heard in the back of our minds. Everybody says what you should be. Backhanded forms of empathy.
Sized up and waiting in line. You feel yourself, your present age. You blink and then you feel yourself again, but on a different stage. Wondering when you fell asleep
Everybody says that this is it.ou're either all in or out now, kid.
So I pack up my things.

And I leave.
