GROWN.
I’m a grown ass woman.
I eat my Ramen noodles in my cold ass dorm, which should be warm.
Walking the leaf-covered sidewalks and the frigid air, without a care.
Lemme make something clear,
I’ll go to class, cuz I need to pass.
I need a glass of wine, to reduce the stress of this upcoming test.
A bitch is pressed.
I need a new dress, cuz I look a hot mess.
I know I’m complaining a lot, but I’ve got to express my distress.
I’m a grown ass woman,
Keep your opinions to yourself or put them on the shelf.
I’m a grown ass woman,
I do what the fuck I want.
I don’t have to flaunt, I don’t want the guys I should want.
I leave them feeling blue, walking around without a clue.
I don’t need your point of view,
You should know how much I’ve grown.
I bit off what I can chew, and I say what I knew.
We are through here, so let these words sink into your ear.
I’m a grown ass woman.
