Grown

I have always been a momma's girl

I could never leave her side without wanting to whine

As I grew older I started to rely on her a little less

But I didn't want to leave the nest just yet

She was always sweet and kind

I used to feel so blind

Because I could not see how much of a toll everything took on her

Then everything happened in a blur

I was starting high school for the first time

I finally had to leave her side

I was all grown up now

I might have blew a cow...
