Grown Apart

No talking

Less walking

No kissing

neither of us can find what's missing

Our minds lie to our hearts to keep us both happy

Never knowing that growing apart has made us less happy

No more text

We sit just waiting on who could be our next

No more cuddling

It seems we moved back to just buddying

We find more peace with others around us

Then sit on the phone in silence with just the two of us

The words "I love you" gets forced with no feeling

Rolling off the tongue like slim stuck to the throat
