Grown woman-ish

I turned 18.

I got a job.

I graduated from high school.

Went off to college.

Completed my freshman year.

Sophomore year started off fine but second semester brought a surprise.

Accreditation scare.

My institution was in danger.

My education was between a rock and a hard place.

I was unbothered.

My unbotherdness turned into worries.

My worries put me in a place of sadness.

I had to make the decision if I should leave my beloved Bennett College or stay.

Stay at the place where I was comfortable and gained a lot of sisters.

Leave my sisters behind, move on and attend another institution where I know my degree is secured.

I got up.

I left.

I moved on.

I had to make a grown woman decision and walk away.
