Growth

I always viewed myself as a little kid.

I thought that it was alright if I hid.

I hid my personality, my intelligence, and my emotion.

Then I realized my intention.

I was afraid to grow because change is scary.

Truly living your life can get quite hairy.

Facing challenges caused me to blossom.

So, I no longer felt like playing opossum.

Forcing myself out form hiding.

Released me from my binding.

I could finally become self-reliant.

& that’s what made me grow from being a callant.
