Growth

Maybe growth is not always a product of change.

Maybe growth is remaining fearlessly the same despite countless criticisms and alternate instructions.

Maybe growth is not necessarily forcing one to abandon that which feels right.

Maybe growth is staying in for the night, and not talking or meeting new people.

Maybe growth doesn’t have to hurt so bitterly nor feel so wrong.

Maybe growth doesn’t have to make you any more strong.

Maybe it’s all about resilience, maybe it’s alright to stay quiet and frown.

Maybe you were grown to begin with and others tried to shrink you down.
