You push me to my best ablility,

Even though I felt you was just disappointed in me,

Now I know you just want me to get an education,

And go off to college since you didn't finish.

I didn't care for school until I saw you still had faith in me.

I want to be successful just to say I made my dreams come true.

I also did this for me, because I didn't want to struggle.

I made the honor roll and focus more in school.

You never gave up on me even when you wanted to.

I've made so many mistakes in life,

That could have easily maade you say "I'm done"

You didn't raise me in two parent home,

But you did your best to play the father role.

Now since I'm growing up

And about to graduate.

When I walk across that stage I hope you smile,

Because your first born is going off to better things.

I thought I should surprise you by going to college.

I want you to know I wouldn't let you down,

And I will be successful for the both us.

Just I know I love you and will always do.
