Growth

You live and you learn

Make mistakes and take a couple of wrong turns

Cross flaming bridges and tattoo a few burns

Only to learn how to live.

You break your heart desperate for love

Always forgiving naïve as love.

Your heart now an empty void

Impatience a lesson that breaks only to build.

I pray that you grow

Don’t be naïve.

Find God and you’ll know love

I hope you pray, love and grow.
