Growth

Gazing backwards calling forth the past

Digging deep uncovering forgotten plights

Reminiscent of a child’s goals and wishes

Where have they gone?

Looking outward asking for guidance of those around me

Fighting for control from subconscious demons

Doubt plagues the mind of a driven adolescent

Who am I now?

Scanning the horizon of the promised land

Climbing out the depths of gloomy uncertainty

Clear skies and the heavens shines

What will I find?
