I used to see darkness, and never the light.

I used to be a sad child, who was scared to try new things

I used to think that no one loved me

I used to think that I wasn’t good enough

but now,

I know that there is light at the end of the tunnel

I still get sad sometimes but I’ve realized that’s okay

I try new things almost everyday

I know now that I am loved and that I will always be good enough

I now know that it wasn’t the world holding me back as a kid, it was me
