Growth

With youth and age, comes growth

Time slips forward, waiting for no one

perspectives change, revalations occur

We begin to realize, that growth, comes with time

And so we slowly shift into who we push ourselves to be

No matter the circumstances of once we came

Because that is what growth is

For myself, growth has no age

Never occuring at once a certain point

Growth is a wave we ride

Something to revel in

Because that is what growth is

We think back, to a time

And we realize that our ideas, our perceptions, changed

We ponder, "What has changed since then?"

Our ideas? Our experiences? Our age?

Growth itself comes at all ages

Because that is what growth is

Growth is the passage of time

Whilst we watch and wait

Changes occur, we become wiser

We are humbled by what we once were

And stride to be better than we are

Slowly, but surely..

Because that is what growth is
